I had arrived early in the morning at the Farm on the morning of the 18th, it was very still and peaceful and no one else was in the formation. I met a farm worker before entering the formation that claimed it was created over a period of three nights, ( I did not take this seriously as one can become prejudiced when inspecting a formation and hence precondition your views) I said I would like to speak to Mr. Mike Burge (the farmer) but I was told he was not available. This surprised me because I heard he was very amenable towards other researchers. I was not sure what to expect at ground zero after hearing a description and sketches of this formation. On first impressions of the formation was incredibly elaborate despite me being unable to find any bending, implosion or explosion of the nodes. The formation was approximately 390ft X 232 ft, the disc radius approximately 100ft in size. There was damage, caused by feet if you looked carefully but as I was unable to ascertain how many people had visited the formation prior to my visit it could just have been them. With the equipment I had with me, broadband RF scanner, electrostatic voltmeter, magnetometer and another prototype piece of electronic equipment I have been using this season there were no abnormal readings at all, even the levels of background radiation were the same in the formation as in the surrounding area well away from it. I took soil and plant samples both from within the formation and at random in the field. The soil samples have been analyzed and there is no difference from those taken in the formation and at random in the surrounding field what so ever. I shall have to wait longer for the plants analysis results. There was something, despite the formation being very elaborate that I couldn't help 'feeling', call in intuition, a gut feeling or whatever that it's an elaborate and well-constructed man-made formation. I must admit it is a very impressive formation and I would love it to be part of the genuine phenomena, I hope I am proved wrong. I have always said at the presentations that I give around the country, "It does not really matter if every formation from the first one I saw way back in the 1970's were man-made, they have still achieved the same thing, they have drawn a great number of people together, raised their conscious levels and made us look within and question our very being"

Back to the analysis, there were several conflicting episodes in regards to this formation. One has to ask the following questions:

1) Why did the photograph appear on the Crop Circle Connector web site and then disappear before being reinstated?

2) Why was there a telephone call from a lady claiming to have seen it from a certain location who then telephoned a radio station From the position she alleged saw it it is not visible or possible?

Dear David, We went to the formation and I too noted the lack of swollen nodes. Don't see how the image can possibly have been faked (unless done from satellite by unknown technology; why don't the debunkers come up with a plausible explanation like this?), however, as it requires total accuracy. Just try copying the image in pencil and photocopying the result - it will look so shoddy.

Also the rods turned a full circle whenever encountering the design. A curious policeman arrived and I gave him the rods and they turned round. Julie took an amusing photo of me, the cop and the listening post behind.
